Rocky Mountain Exteriors has installed, repaired, and fabricated roofs and metal across the Western Slope of Colorado since 2008. Headquartered in Glenwood Springs, we serve Aspen, Snowmass, Basalt, Carbondale, and the broader Roaring Fork Valley with residential roofing, specialty roofing for custom homes, metal roofing and siding, and full-service custom metal fabrication.
Most of our business comes from repeat customers, referrals from architects and builders we've worked with for years, and homeowners who saw our work on a neighbor's property. That's the only metric we really care about.
Rocky Mountain Exteriors is part of the PRQ Exteriors family of companies, bringing additional depth, manufacturer relationships, and operational resources to the Western Slope while keeping local crews, local schedules, and local accountability.

Our History
We've been roofing and fabricating metal on the Western Slope since 2008, and in that time the business has evolved with the valley itself. As Aspen-area homes have moved increasingly toward metal roofs and metal siding — for wildfire mitigation, insurance qualification, and architectural reasons — we've built the in-house metal shop, materials inventory, and crew specialization to do that work at the highest level.
Today, Rocky Mountain Exteriors is one of the few contractors on the Western Slope that handles roofing and architectural metal fabrication under one roof. That's the difference on a custom build — and it's why builders and architects in Aspen, Snowmass, and Glenwood Springs keep coming back.
